China, U.S. make further substantive progress on trade talks: Xinhua

BEIJING (Reuters) – Chinese Vice Foremost Liu He spoke by telephone with U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and U.S. Trade Agent Robert Lighthizer and the two sides made extra substantive progress on trade talks, Xinhua data firm spelled out on Friday.

The report spelled out the telephone took location on Thursday. It gave no other factors.
